Abhishek Bachchan asks Amitabh Bachchan how tall he is compared to Jaya Bachchan, teases that he would call her on his reply. Watch
While promoting Ghoomer, Abhishek Bachchan will put his own spin on Kaun Banega Crorepati 15's rules and quiz his father and the show's host Amitabh Bachchan.
Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan will be in their elements on KBC 15. The new episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 will feature Abhishek Bachchan, Ghoomer director R Balki and co-actor Sayami Kher. Ever since teaser videos of the episode dropped, fans have been left excited about witnessing the fun bond between Abhishek and his father Amitabh Bachchan.
The first promo saw Abhishek and director R Balki requesting Big B to act out a drunken scene. While delivering the dialogue, the host also teased a woman in the audience. Now in the new video shared by Sony TV, Abhishek takes on the role of the game show host and quizzes his father. He shares that since it’s a Ghoomer special episode, there should be twist on the show.
As he takes on the hot seat, Abhishek asks Big B who was the real Paa in the film Paa. As the senior actor replies it was him, the Breathe actor said no, and added with a loud laugh, “Galat. Paa toh aap hi ho na (Wrong, you are the father).” His response leaves his father upset as he says that he’s playing the game wrong. To this, Abhishek replies, “My game, my rules.”
He then asks Big B how tall he is compared to his mother Jaya Bachchan. Amitabh Bachchan gestures with his hands up in the air, “Itne lambe (This tall).” Abhishek quicky tells him, “Bulau unko (Should I call her?), leaving the superstar all worried. “Mereko nahi khelna yeh khel,” he tells his son while making a face.

Every time Abhishek Bachchan’s projects are up for release, Amitabh Bachchan’s social media feed is full of re-tweets of fans, praising his son’s work. The senior actor not only shares and comments what he feels about Abhishek’s performances, but also routinely amplifies opinions of others.
“It is wonderful,” Abhishek told indianexpress.com when asked about having his father show overwhelming love for him on social media. “But times you feel it’s a bit excessive, it’s embarrassing and I told him that once, ‘Hey, can you just back of a bit? Take your foot off the accelerator!’ But we forget, he is also a father. I am a father today and I know the raw emotion that comes with a child. You can’t blame him.”
The actor said one must look at his father’s outpouring of love within the context of his own evolution, as the megastar was previously never public with his expression. It has taken a lot for Amitabh to reach this stage and Abhishek says he looks at it as a father openly, finally, celebrating his son’s work.
“He has finally mustered up the courage to be public about it. He never used to before. He was very shy, almost very scared of expressing his opinions and emotions about it. But he is not doing it (praising me) blindly. I know if there is a scene or a film that he has not liked, or he feels it could have been better, he tells me honestly. We forget that apart from being a huge icon, he is also a father. I hope he is proud of me and I will work towards making proud,” he added.
