Video from sets of Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil’s Vettaiyan goes viral

In the latest video from the sets of Vettaiyan, Fahadh Faasil is seen in a vibrant printed shirt while Rajinikanth is wearing formal attire.

Earlier, a picture from the sets of Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan found its way online, which featured Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil preparing for a scene. Now, a video from the sets is making the rounds of social media, which again features the two actors ahead of a shot.

In the latest video, Fahadh is seen in a vibrant printed shirt while Rajinikanth is wearing formal attire, which seems to be his costume throughout the film. While Fahadh is seen standing aside, Rajinikanth is seen interacting with crew members in the video clip.

Rajinikanth seems to be playing the role of a teacher in the film. However, the promo had him using a pistol. Hence, it is unclear what is the role of ‘Thalaivar’ in the film.

Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel of Jai Bhim fame, has been shot in various locations across the Southern part of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth’s friend, is also playing an important role in the film, which stars Dushara Vijayan, Ritikas Singh, Manju Warrier and Rana Daggubati in important roles. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the film, which is expected to be released this year.

After the film, Rajinikanth will team up with Lokesh Kanagaraj for Thalaivar 171, which will go on floors in March or April.
