Actor Trisha recently took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse into the vibrant sangeet ceremony of her friend, actor Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and her fiance Nicholai Sachdev. The event took place on July 1 in Chennai, and Trisha’s photos captured the joyous atmosphere of the celebration. While the bride-to-be Varalaxmi looked stunning in a lehenga, Trisha looked ethereal in an ivory attire.

The sangeet was attended by several prominent personalities from the film industry, including Telugu actor Lakshmi Manchu, The Greatest of All Time producer Archana Kalpathi, fashion designer Sidney, and Mamta Mohandas. Rayane Mithun, Radhika Sarathkumar’s daughter, stood out in a red Indo-western outfit, while Radhika graced the event in a dark blue ensemble.

The pre-wedding festivities kicked off with a mehndi ceremony, which embraced a green theme. Guests arrived in their best green outfits, adding to the colorful celebration. A video of Sarathkumar dancing to Vijay-Trisha’s “Appadi Podu” at the event even went viral.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Nicholai Sachdev are set to tie the knot on July 4, though an official announcement is still awaited. The wedding will be an intimate affair, attended by family and close friends. Following the wedding, a lavish reception is planned in Chennai, which is expected to attract celebrities from the Tamil and Telugu film industries, as well as prominent politicians. Among the invitees are superstar Rajinikanth, actor-politician Kamal Haasan, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
