Venkat Prabhu recently posted a photo on social media revealing Vijay's genuine excitement as he watched his cinematic idol on the big screen during a screening of the latter's film in a US theatre.

Thalapathy Vijay undeniably boasts a massive fandom across the nation. As one of Tamil cinema’s most prominent stars, he has dominated the industry for over three decades, drawing support from a diverse fanbase that includes both industry insiders and commoners.
What might come as a surprise is that Thalapathy himself is an ardent fan of a legendary actor. Recently, director Venkat Prabhu posted a photo on social media, revealing Vijay’s genuine excitement as he watched his cinematic idol on the big screen during the premiere of the latter’s film in a theatre. This icon is none other than the legendary Denzel Washington.
Now in the United States with Venkat, Vijay attended the world premiere of Washington’s vigilante action thriller The Equalizer 3. The director captured a rare and endearing moment in which the Tamil superstar displayed his deep admiration for his lifelong inspiration.
“For the first ever time!!! I captured our #Thalapathy @actorvijay na’s fan boy moment!!! #denzelwashington #Equalizer3 #fdfs #LA,” Venkat Prabhu noted while sharing a picture showing the actor’s enthusiastic cheers as Denzel Washington graced the screen.
