Veteran actor Rajinikanth is currently gearing up for his upcoming film titled Jailer. The film was announced last year and recently, the film’s audio launch saw Rajinikanth greeting his fans. Now, actor Vishal Saroye has opened up about working with Rajinikanth in Kaala and Darbar. Vishal said that Rajinikanth likes to click photos with his fans and does it with his own camera. He later sends PDF files of the photo to the fans.
In an interview with Join Films, Saroye recalled the time when he worked with the actor. “As soon as the shot was done, he (Rajinikanth) was sitting in a place and the shoot location had a lot of mosquitos. I told him ‘Sir, you sit in the van, they will call you.’ He replied, ‘No, the director will call me.’ I told him there is a lot of time and asked him to sit in his van. He refused. He is that kind of an actor who looks at the director’s face first instead of the monitor after a shot is complete,” he said.
Rajinikanth will play a retired cop named Muthuvel Pandian in Jailer, which is all set to release on August 10. The film also stars Shivarajkumar, Mohanlal, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Redin Kingsley, Vinayakan and Jaffer Sadiq.
