Osarattum Pathu Thala: AR Rahman delivers another hit for Silambarasan

Directed by N Krishna, Pathu Thala is based on the Kannada film Mufti, which had Shivarajkumar and Srimurali in the lead roles. The film is about a gangster, whose empire is infiltrated by a cop pretending to be a hitman.

There’s a lot of hope pinned on Pathu Thala as Silambarasan at the film’s audio launch made a lot of promising statements about his upcoming movies.

The actor, who had been on a long rough path, has churned out two back-to-back hits–Maanadu and Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. Speaking at the event, Simbu told his fans, “You guys have been of huge support for me so far, and it is time you take a rest. You can just sit back and enjoy what I am going to do from now on. Just watch! I haven’t come to this place ordinarily. I am here to stay and I wouldn’t give up that easily.”

Other than Silambarasan, Pathu Thala stars Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Gautham Vasudev Menon. The movie will be released on March 30 across the world.
