Nayanthara thanks Shah Rukh Khan, Chiranjeevi for giving her NOCs after Dhanush’s denial: ‘Without hesitation or delay’
Nayanthara thanked Shah Rukh Khan, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and many other producers who allowed her to use footage from their films in Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale.

Days after Nayanthara wrote an open letter to Dhanush, expressing her anger towards him for not giving her an NOC (no objection certificate) for using video and audio from the film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in her documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, she has shared a list of people who gave her the necessary permission without “hesitation or delay.”
In her letter to Dhanush, Nayanthara had said that the actor-filmmaker refused to grant her an NOC after making her wait for two years. In a new post on Instagram, Nayanthara wrote, “Every film I have worked on, holds immense significance in my life, as my journey in cinema is filled with countless joyful moments. Among these, many films are especially close to my heart and I wished to include those memories and scenes in our documentary. When I approached the following producers to obtain No Objection Certificate (NOCs), they granted them without hesitation or delay. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of them.”
Nayanthara then went on to mention Bollywood actor-producer Shah Rukh Khan, who also appeared in the documentary. Some footage from their film, Jawan, which was produced by SRK, was used in the documentary as well. She also thanked her Tamil film industry peers, including K Balachander, Udhayanidhi Stalin, KE Gnanavel Raja, AR Murugadoss, among others. From the Telugu industry, she thanked Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and others, and in Malayalam industry, where she made her film debut, she thanked Abdul Hameed Muhammed Fazil, NB Vindhyan, Houli Potoor, and Maha Subair.

She also wrote, “Thank you for sharing a slice of my most professional moments. Your unwavering support during moments like these deeply moves me. I will always cherish this kindness with immense gratitude. May our journey together continue, always, finding happiness in other people’s happiness.”
Previously, her letter, Nayanthara revealed that Dhanush had claimed damages of Rs 10 crore for using a three-second clip of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in the trailer of the Netflix documentary. “What’s even more shocking is your legal notice after the release if the trailer of the Netflix documentary. We were startled to read those lines wherein you questioned the usage of some videos (just 3 seconds) which were shot on our personal devices and that too BTS visuals that are already very much publicly present on social media and claimed a sum of Rs 10 crore as damages for mere 3 seconds,” she wrote.
