Leo Tamil poster out: Vijay gears up for ultimate battle in Lokesh Kanagaraj film
In contrast to the Telugu and Kannada posters, which had a white background, the Tamil poster of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo stands out with a fiery yellow backdrop, and Vijay, as usual, at the centre.

(Image: Lokesh Kanagaraj/Twitter) Three posters in three days for all three languages: it seems as if Lokesh Kanagaraj and team are going all out to keep the buzz and excitement sky-high for the Vijay-starrer Leo, as the actioner gears up for its worldwide release on October 19.
Following the release of its Telugu and Kannada posters, Lokesh Kanagaraj unveiled Leo’s Tamil poster on Wednesday.
In contrast to the Telugu and Kannada posters, which had a white background, the Tamil poster of Leo stands out with a vibrant and fiery yellow backdrop. In this poster, Vijay is shown intensely sharpening a weapon, with fiery sparks flying as he focuses on the task.
While the Telugu poster featured the tagline “Keep calm and avoid the battle,” and the Kannada one mentioned “Keep calm and plot your escape,” the Tamil poster takes a different tone, carrying the tagline “Keep calm and prepare for battle,” indicating a significant shift in the film’s buildup and potentially hinting at a gradual progression in the narrative too.

Bankrolled by SS Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, while Jagadish Palanisamy serves as co-producer, Leo also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan and Mysskin among others.
While Anirudh Ravichander has composed the songs and background track for the actioner, its cinematography has been handled by Manoj Paramahamsa, and editing by Philomin Raj.
The lyrical video of the song, “Naa Ready” from the film has already become a chartbuster, garnering over 132 million views on YouTube. Leo’s character reveal videos, featuring Sanjay Dutt and Arjun, and promo video featuring Vijay too had received much recognition.
Leo is rumoured to be a remake of David Cronernberg’s A History of Violence (2005), which follows the story of a small-time cafe owner. When the unassuming family man ends up killing two burglars at his cafe, his story makes it to national television. When troublesome people come looking for him in the little town, the back story of the hero is revealed to be one filled with blood and gore.
