Leo new poster out: It’s raining updates for Thalapathy Vijay fans

Seven Screen Studio has released another poster of Leo ahead of the film's release, keeping the fans in a celebratory mode.

Seven Screen Studio, the production house behind Leo, has made sure that they keep fans from demanding updates. Even before such requests are made, the producers flood social media with one update after another. Only on Sunday, the makers revealed a stylish poster of Leo featuring Vijay in a grey sweater. Now, there’s another poster from the makers, which follows a similar design to the earlier poster.

In the poster released yesterday, Vijay’s t-shirt had the image of the actor running towards the frame in snow amidst trees. In the new poster, Vijay’s image is seen on a revolver, and it has the line, “Keep calm and plan your escape.” In the image, Vijay can be seen sitting engrossed in thought.

Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is all set to be released on October 19. Rumoured to be part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, the film also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin, Gautam Vasudev Menon, and Mansoor Ali Khan in pivotal roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the movie.

Leo is rumoured to be a remake of David Cronernberg’s A History of Violence (2005), which follows the story of a small-time cafe owner. When the unassuming family man ends up killing two burglars at his cafe, his story makes it to national television. When troublesome people come looking for him in the little town, the back story of the hero is revealed to be one filled with blood and gore.
