GOAT gets a special teaser on Vijay’s birthday, Thalapathy stuns in double role. Watch

On the occasion of Vijay's50th birthday, the makers of Greatest Of All Times (GOAT) dropped a special teaser of the film.

The makers of Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film, Greatest Of All Times (GOAT), dropped a special action packed teaser to commemorate the star’s 50th birthday on Saturday. GOAT, a Tamil science fiction action film, is written and directed by filmmaker Venkat Prabhu. It stars Vijay leading an ensemble cast which includes Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, Mohan, Laila and Jayaram.

Vijay plays a dual role in the film. In the teaser, he can be seen in an action avatar, where one of his characters is riding a bike and the other is in the passenger seat as they make their way through a foreign location. The background music in the teaser adds to the thrill created by the action sequences.

The teaser starts with a caption, “It’s time to see the unseen” and concludes with a birthday message from the makers, stating, “Happy Birthday The GOAT.”

The teaser has been receiving a lot of love from Vijay’s fans as they were delighted to see him play a dual role. Some of them took to the comments section of the YouTube video to review it. One fan wrote, ” 2 GOATS (fire emoticon).” Another fan wrote, “A Yuvan Shankar Raja Musical (red heart emoticon) BGM (fire emoticon)” Another fan wrote, “Yuvan + VP never disappoints. After a long time seeing 2 Vijays in charismatic look.”

The makers also released a promo for the film’s second song ‘Chinna Chinna Kangal’. This track serves as a special tribute to the late singer Bhavatharini, featuring her AI-generated voice along with Vijay’s vocals. The full song will be released on Saturday, on the occasion of Vijay’s 50th birthday.

GOAT releases in cinemas on September 5.
