Just like director Shankar, Sukumar seems to be the most cautious about the content of his films getting leaked. Shankar is notorious for stringent rules on the sets of his films, which bars crew members from using phones. Now, Pushpa director Sukumar has also employed similar measures on the sets of Pushpa: The Rule.
Given the massive success of Pushpa: The Rise, the first installment of the franchise, expectations for the sequel are incredibly high. The filmmakers are aware of the fervent interest surrounding the project and are determined to keep the story details confidential to maintain the element of surprise for the audience.
According to a report on a daily, the director has also resorted to an extreme measure of shooting multiple endings to the film to keep everyone in the dark about how the film will conclude.
The move is to keep even the crew members in limbo about which scene would make it to the final cut. On top of that, the director also has plans for a third part and the multiple endings would come in handy to have different options for the future of the franchise. Allu Arjun has earlier confirmed that Pushpa will be turned into a franchise and confirmed a third part is on the cards.
Also starring Rashmika Mandanna, Jagapati Babu, and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles, Pushpa The Rule, will follow the consolidation of Pushpa’s position in the red smuggling underworld. With music by Devi Sri Prasad, the film has created huge anticipation with the release of the second single Soseki, which also features glimpses from the sets of the film’s shoot.
Pushpa: The Rule will be released on August 15.
