Tamil star Ajith Kumar paid a visit to Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal after they were rescued from Chennai floods.

Vishnu took to Twitter to share a picture with Ajith and Aamir, and wrote, “After gettting to know our situation through a common friend, The ever helpful Ajith Sir came to check in on us and helped with travel arrangements for our villa community members…Love you Ajith Sir!”

It has come as surprise to many fans of Aamir Khan to find him stuck in the Chennai floods. His presence in the city became news after he was spotted in Vishnu Vishal’s post on X. The Taare Zameen Par actor has been in Chennai for the past few months for the treatment of his ailing mother. Aamir seems to be living in a villa in Karapakkam area, where Vishnu is also a resident.

The area was one of the badly hit regions due to the flood, and Vishnu took to Twitter to share few pictures of the neighbourhood. He claimed the residents of the area are struck with no electricity and network. The Chennai corporation promptly reached his house and rescued him. Aamir was also brought back in the same boat, and the picture of the two with the rescue workers went viral on social media.

Tamil Nadu minister TRB Rajaa lauded Aamir Khan for not pulling strings and getting himself out of the area with his influence. He called the Hindi actor ‘a class human being’ who waited for his turn to be rescued. “Thanks for the appreciation Vishnu Vishal and please do thank the gentleman next to you for being such a class human being ! Astounding that he didn’t try to pull any strings to be rescued ! Awesome to see him being so grounded and WAITING HIS TURN to be rescued just like any of our fellow citizens. Lessons for those who try to pull strings and drop names ! Hats off to people like Thiru Khan for being sensitive to the scale of the issue at hand and patiently await their turn. We will continue to stick to our Rescue Schedule,” wrote the minister to Vishnu Vishal on X.
