Ajith Kumar’s back-to-back updates take social media by storm; video with Shalini wins hearts

There is no doubt that Ajith Kumar has remained an enigma for most of his career. Known for staying away from the media, it is interesting how he has turned that around, albeit in his own terms. While he still is far from active on social media, we have seen his passion for racing and bikes come through effectively. If snippets from his professional career as an actor and a motor racing enthusiast are released by his official PR person, nuggets of his personal life are taken care of by his wife and former actor Shalini. And this past weekend, social media was abuzz with updates from all these fronts. 

On the racing front, Ajith, who also runs a motorcycle travel group called Venus Motorcycle Tours, released a video where he spoke about the benefits of travel, especially in opening up the minds to the world’s diversity. “Religion and caste makes you hate people you’ve never met. Through travel, you experience different cultures and nationalities. It makes you empathise with people, and makes you a better person. The idea is to get people to travel, and I think it is the best form of meditation,” said Ajith, and this video has gone viral ever since. Ajith also recently revealed that he has launched the Ajith Kumar Racing Team, and they would be competing in various international competitions, including the upcoming 24H Series in the Porsche 992 GT3 cup category.

On the acting front, a recent image of Ajith, sporting his look from Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly was doing the rounds. The actor looked suave and dapper in a simple white t-shirt, and his now-iconic salt-and-pepper hairstyle, stylish sunglasses, and tattooed arms. The photo went viral, and received a lot of positive comments for the new look of Ajith. 

On the personal front, Shalini shared a video of the much-loved couple having a stroll in the streets of Spain. The video, which has become the walk and talk of the town, features Shalini capturing visuals of the streets, and her superstar husband. Sharing the video, she wrote, “Together is a wonderful place to be.” A day before sharing the video, Shalini uploaded pictures of herself with son Aadvik as they visited the famous Bernabeu stadium to witness a Real Madrid match in Spain.
