Adanga Maru trailer: Jayam Ravi plays a cop who fights the corrupt system

Adanga Maru trailer: In the Karthik Thangavelu directorial, Jayam Ravi plays an upright police officer who enforces the rule of law without fear or favor.

The trailer of Jayam Ravi’s upcoming movie Adanga Maru was released on Wednesday. The film revolves around an upright police officer who enforces the rule of law without fear or favor.

Jayam has a happy family but his job as a police officer puts everything at risk. Judging from the trailer, he is insubordinate and refuses to follow the system that protects bad people. After a point, he takes on the same system that nurtured him.

Written and directed by Karthik Thangavelu, Adanga Maru is set to hit the screens in November. The cop drama also stars Raashi Khanna, Sampathraj, Munish Kanth, Pon Vannan, Subbu Panju, Azhagam Perumal, Meera Vasudevan, Gajaraj, Mathew Varghese, Nitin Mehta, Bharath Raj, Shabir, Vijay Victor and Rajaa among others.

The film has music by Sam CS of Vikram Vedha fame.

Jayam Ravi, meanwhile, has more films in the pipeline. He has teamed up with his director brother Mohan Raja for the sequel to blockbuster film Thani Oruvan.

He has also been roped in for fantasy epic Sangamithra, which was announced more than a year ago. The film which will be helmed by director Sundar C is yet to go on floors.
