Sonam Nair who had directed Gippi, is having a hard time finding a suitable male lead to act in her second directorial venture, which is an untitled adult comedy to be produced by Dharma Productions. “We’re looking for an actor to represent Dharma Films, so it has to be someone special,” remarked Nair. The film she said was not a regular Bollywood sex comedy.

“It’s a modern, coming-of- age comedy with adult content, but written from a woman’s perspective. The film does not have double meaning dialogues, adult jokes or anything that is overly sexualised. It is not a male comedy objectifying women, or joking about the
female anatomy or making a big deal about sex,” said Nair adding that the cast will be all new and young.

As for the female lead, Nair said, “Disha Pattani (a model) is one of the actresses being considered, but nothing is confirmed as yet.” Commenting about Pulkit Samrat’s exit from the project, Nair commented, “We were considering him, but he was never signed on. He was actually too old for the role.”
