With their compositions in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and It’s Entertainment already becoming popular, music director duo Sachin and Jigar Saraiya have been roped in for a fresh, romantic set of tunes for Nikhil Advani’s Hero. Although the film starring newbies Sooraj Pancholi and Athaiya Shetty is a remake of the 1983 hit by the same name, Advani’s version will have original compositions.
When contacted, Jigar confirmed the news and stated, “Yes, we are happy to work on the soundtrack of Hero. We are still working on the tracks, recordings and a lot of things are yet to be finalised. But, the album will have only original compositions. We are not recreating any track as such.”
Honey Singh sings for Salman
After making Shah Rukh Khan do the Lungi Dance last year, Yo Yo Honey Singh has now made Salman Khan shake a leg on a pacey number titled Yaar Naa Miley. Released online last week, the song also featuring Nargis Fakhri, has been getting a good response. The dance number has been written, composed and sung by Singh, while for female vocals, he has roped in California-based Punjabi music creator and singer Jasmine Sandlas. The Punjabi lyrics blend well with the electronic and techno beats. The catch phrase of the song is repeated at multiple junctures. Sandlas has crooned the number in a quirky way, which makes the song sound different from the usual dance numbers that one gets to hear. Apart from rapping the usual way, Singh has sung a few parts with emotional lyrics pretty well. This one is surely going to top the charts.
