Kannada actor Diganth in The Wedding Pullav

Diganth, the young actor with about 20 Kannada films to his credit, has started shooting for his second Hindi film, The Wedding Pullav. Popular as the Chocolate hero down South, the actor is paired with Anushka Ranjan, daughter of producer Shashi Ranjan and Anu Ranjan.
Confirming this, Diganth, who is already shooting for J.P.Dutta’s Jee Bharke Jeele, said, “Yes, I’m doing The Wedding Pullav and have started shooting from September 17 in New Delhi.” However, he did not let reveal any more details about the rom-com, which marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Binod Pradhan.
To be shot on Red Dragon, a new high-tech camera being used for the first time in India, it also stars Karan V Grover, Rishi Kapoor, Satish Kaushik and others. It has music by Salim-Suleiman.
Diganth, who has three Kannada projects lined up, is awaiting more Hindi assignments.
