Hungama launches PRO services for its application

In a bid to further augment its reach in the digital music industry, Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd has taken a step ahead in innovation, as it launched an advanced version of their flagship Hungama mobile application, titled PRO service. With mobile accounting for 90 per cent of digital music consumption and 73 per cent internet penetration fuelled by the proliferation of smartphones, there is an upswing in the digital consumption of media content in India, which compelled Hungama to take their application a notch higher. The latest additions in the PRO service includes a variety of new services, which includes the caching feature on both iOS and Android, which enables consumers to save music audio and videos, which can be played without internet connection at anytime. There is also an integrated service of audio and videos on offer, which helps the user to stream and download any content simultaneously. The subscription for PRO services can be downloaded from Google Wallet at Rs.110 per month and users also have the option of downloading customised packages for a day, week or month choosing the telecom operator billing option.

 

Alok Nath makes his Twitter debut

After creating a session on Twitter by topping the trend charts almost everyday, thanks to his reel life sanskaari image, actor Alok Nath decided to make his Twitter debut last week. Nath’s account was verified even before he posted his first tweet, making him a trending topic yet again. The actor’s first post was retweeted more than 1500 times (at the time of going to print). He posted, “Pranaam Twitter world! Finally attending the party you guys threw for me. Let’s hope it’s a good one. Cheers!”
