Sajid Khan not only turned his actors, Chote Nawab Saif Ali Khan, the lanky Riteish Deshmukh and the bulky Ram Kapoor into attractive women for a song sequence in his upcoming Humshakals, he also showed them romancing themselves. “Since all three have triple roles in the film, I showed each romancing his female form which turned out to be the most difficult part of the shoot. It’s a very complicated process and takes a lot of time, as we first shot with the three actors dressed as guys and then in their female avatars. We had a special effects team on the sets to see that the visuals enhanced the story,” said Khan. The song was filmed over eight days in Mauritius. Khan reveals how Deshmukh would take the most time to dress, as he paid attention to the minutest details from nail polish to accessories, while Saif was the quickest, with Kapoor also taking his own time to dress.
“Kareena Kapoor Khan and Genelia D’Souza were there during the shoot and would help their husbands Saif and Riteish respectively, when it came to adjusting their hair or dress,” revealed the director.
Starring Bipasha Basu, Tamannaah Bhatia and Esha Gupta, Humshakals is produced by Vashu Bhagnani and presented by Fox Star Studios. It releases on June 20, 2014.

A 25 day schedule for Kick in Mumbai

The cast and crew of Kick who are just back from Poland where they shot for almost a month are now shooting crucial scenes for the film in Mumbai. The shoot took off on May 5 at the city’s Mehboob studio where sets have been created on several floors of the studio to facilitate the shooting. All the leading actors Salman Khan, Randeep Hooda and Jacqueline Fernandez are participating in this 25 day schedule. Kick is being helmed by Sajid Nadiawala.
