With Act One Scene One coming up with two plays, theatre lovers in the city are in for a treat. Directed by Akarsh Khurana and produced by Akvarious Productions, Saraswati’s Way, a children’s play, is based on Monika Schroder’s novel by the same name. It is about a young boy named Akash who is very ambitious. Life puts him into adverse situations but he faces them bravely and runs to a bigger city to face more challenges and experiences. He faces a lot of trouble in the new city but his passion to be well-read keeps him going. The cast of the play includes Adhaar Khurana, Adhir Bhat, Hussain Dalal, Chaitanya Sharma, Kashin Shetty, Amol Parashar, Saurabh Agarwal, Debtosh Darjee, Pratyush Singh, Hemant Ghadigaonkar, Rahul Ashta, Saloni Shukla and Veera Saxena.
The second play is a comedy called Internal Affairs. Directed by Adhaar Khurana, the play is a hilarious account of two young characters working in Mumbai. The plot chronicles the story of two young, enthusiastic and spirited colleagues, Sid and Rhea, caught in a comical situation. Visiting pubs and lounges on a Friday night is normal for them. During one such Friday night out, at a pub, they come close to each other, which leaves them confused, hesitant, indecisive and everything else but happy. The play features actors Hussain Dalal, Priyanshu Painyuli, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Shikha Talsania.
