After starring in a high school drama, and a frothy rom-com, Varun Dhawan’s next role in Badlapur is a rather intense one and even features him playing a father in reel life. However, it is not his role as a father that drew attention, but his son in reel life who was the center of attraction at the film’s teaser launch in Mumbai recently. Dhawan, who plays a father to the five and a half-year old Neel Tyagi, seems to have grown extremely fond of the young hero and even pointed out to Tyagi, shouting out, “That is my son!”, held out his hand and personally escorted him on stage. It was very endearing to see Dhawan shower so much love and affection on Bollywood’s newest star child.
