At the recent music launch of Finding Fanny, lead actress Deepika Padukone was taken aback with a question posed by one of the media persons present. She was standing on the stage with her back to the poster of the film that showed her holding a dead chicken in one hand and a knife in the other. The actress was questioned whether she had really killed the bird or if she had ever tried doing it in real life. A big ‘O’ on her face was proof enough that Deepika was perplexed. Gathering her composure, she dimpled, “That’s just a film. So many times we don’t really do what is shown on screen. And why would I do something like that?”
