Chandan Roy Sanyal in a short, silent film

Actor Chandan Roy Sanyal aka Mikhail from Kaminey will now be seen in a short film. Last week, he posted a picture of himself donning a new look from the film titled, The White Canvas on Facebook. He wrote, “A Short Film on the spirit and a soul of an artist where I play a painter, very Van Gogh like ‘The White Canvas’ written and directed by Himanshu Mishro and shot by Sahir Raza, it’s a silent film with colors!”
“The film is a serious effort from the people who are established in the art industry. It is a colourful film and very beautifully shot. Though for most of them, it is the first time experience on film-making, the theme is pretty engaging,” says Chandan, who within the span of six to eight minutes plays three different ages.
Meanwhile, his forthcoming film Mango is set to release in July and the actor is waiting to start work on Neelima Azim’s Nawab Nautanki.
