Aneri Vajani, who plays the lead in Star Plus’ Nisha Aur Uske Cousins believes in professionalism, especially where her acting career is concerned. The actor, who fractured her leg recently while shooting for a scene where she had to run, continued to shoot despite the pain.
A source from the set reveled that while shooting the scene, no one noticed a stone and when she came running, she tripped over it and fell. However, despite severe pain, she completed the sequence before going to the hospital. She suffered from a hairline fracture and ligament tear.
Aneri, who is now wearing a plaster says, “This wedding scene is a very crucial part of the story where we are showcasing the point of view of three generations. When I resumed shoot the following day, I got to know that the channel and production house have made some changes in the story to accommodate my fractured leg. Now my real life injury has been turned into reel life,” she quips.
