A day packed with tons of activities is normal for Amitabh Bachchan, who recently attended three events back-to-back in a single day. The legendary actor began his day with a special event, where he sang the National Anthem with differently abled children and attended the trailer launch of his upcoming film, Bhoothnath Returns later in the night. Interestingly, the actor was sporting the same attire that is a part of his look in the film. When quizzed about it, the actor replied back with a charming smile on his face: “Arey bhai! Bhoot hoon. Bhooton ko costumes nahin milte hain. The designer of our film was pretty sure that he wants to add a realistic touch. Toh ab aap mujhe is suit mein hi dekhenge. Aacha hain na, sir?” he stated.

After seeking permission from director David Dhawan, both the girls apparently took the day off to go shopping and even ended up purchasing a lot of local stuff and souvenirs for the crew.

The actress confessed that she refrains from watching too much rona-dhona. She was hooked on to saas-bahu dramas with a social touch like Balika Vadhu, Uttaran among others, till the time they started losing track of the plot. She also added that while she continues to be a fan of the genre, she is not too fond of non-fiction shows on social issues which boast of changing the world. Kher adds, “To bring about a change, you must be the change. Aise hi television pe messages dekar kuch nahi hota. You must reach out to people also, right?” Now, here is someone who doesn’t mind going against popular notions.
