20th Annual Life OK Screen Awards/ Star Act

For the first time, in the history of awards, the audience was witness to a live, death-defying stunts by a stuntman who broke through a glass sheet, and set himself on fire, while riding through the aisles of the venue on a bike. Sonu Sood’s act revealed how actors rely on stuntmen, who become the body that perform such hair-raising stunts for them. Later, Sood made an entry on a bike and performed on the songs of Dabangg. On SRK’s insistence, Sood flaunted his biceps, towards the end of his performance and the roar from the audience was deafening.

The audience was left dumb-founded, when a stuntman put himself on fire while he rode the bike. The act was specially choreographed by action director Allen Amin, to pay homage to the unsung action heroes who risk their lives, while they perform high octane stunts for stars.

Being a sport!

Far from looking tired after the day long shoot  of Happy New Year, Sonu Sood looked  excited and pepped-up about rehearsing for his dare-devil act. Mr Smooth, as he is nicknamed by his Happy New Year co-stars, flaunted his well-built body in a body-hugging T-shirt and cargo pants. He was seen rehearsing even on the finale day to get his act right.
