“How far will you go for love?” is a common question people ask to gauge the depth of one’s affection for their significant other. But what if the question is altered to “How far will love take you?” Sounds a bit scary too, right? Yet that is precisely the question troubling Manu (Rakshit Shetty) now, after his release from prison a decade later.

As Side B of the Sapta Sagaradaache Ello cassette begins to play, audiences are not greeted with the same warmth that Side A provided, nor the hope it embodied. This time, we embark on a gripping journey where Manu still yearns for Priya (Rukmini Vasanth), even though he was the one who urged her to move on long ago. He struggles to come to terms with the harsh realities of the world beyond prison.

Ahead of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello (Side B)’s release on November 17, over two months after Sapta Sagaradaache Ello (Side A) hit screens on September 1, the makers have unveiled a trailer, providing glimpses of how Priya and Manu’s lives have evolved over the past 10 years.

The 187-second trailer opens with Manu’s attempts to rebuild his life after his release from prison, taking on odd jobs. Despite his efforts, he still holds onto the cassette that Priya had recorded for him years ago. He frequently listens to it, starting with her familiar address of “Kathe (idiot),” as always.

“To begin a new life, you need to discard all that’s old and unwanted,” advises Manu’s friend from prison. Meanwhile, in an attempt to move forward, he grows closer to a woman (Chaithra J Achar). Yet, when he asks her, “Do you know how to sing,” it becomes apparent as to whom he truly seeks in her.

As the promo unfolds, we finally get to see Manu meeting Priya. Though thrilled to see him, she utters, “Let’s not meet again,” emphasising that things have changed. In contrast to the prequel, Side B employs fewer blue shades and leans more towards black and grey hues, illustrating how the world has evolved.

Helmed by Hemanth M Rao, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello (Side B)’s ensemble cast also includes Achyuth Kumar, Pavitra Lokesh, Avinash and Sharath Lohithaswa.
