Taylor Swift scolds fans for tossing objects onto stage during performance: ‘It really freaks me out’
During her performance in Buenos Aires, as part of the Latin American leg of her Eras Tour, Taylor Swift observed a projectile heading towards the stage and landing beside her. In response, she halted the performance and addressed the matter.

Instances of audience members hurling various objects at artists during their performances have become increasingly common over time. Notable performers who have experienced such incidents include singers Harry Styles, Bebe Rexha, Drake, Kelsea Ballerini, Pink, among others.
It crossed a line when a fan threw a drink at American rapper Cardi B recently in the middle of her performance. Cardi, however, refused to let the incident pass without response and retaliated by tossing her microphone back at them.
The latest to condemn the act of tossing objects on stage is singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. During her performance at Estadio Monumental (popularly known as River Plate Stadium) in Buenos Aires on Sunday, as part of the Latin American leg of her ongoing Eras Tour, Taylor observed a projectile heading towards the stage and landing beside her.
In response, Taylor halted the performance and addressed the matter with composure and professionalism. She also sternly reprimanded her fans, urging them to refrain from such behaviour.

In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Taylor can be seen saying: “Just because communication means having gentle, healthy boundaries, it really freaks me out when stuff gets thrown on the stage.”
“Because, if it’s on the stage, then a dancer can trip on it,” she observed. “I love that you bought presents and that is so nice, but just, can you please not throw them on the stage,” Taylor added, before concluding it with an “I love you so much.”
Taylor Swift has dominated 2023 with her Eras Tour concerts and movie, along with her new album Midnights. Meanwhile, she also recently made history by getting an impressive number of Grammy nods as an artist.

While SZA led the 66th Grammy Awards competition with nine nominations, Jack Antonoff, Jon Batiste, Boygenius, Brandy Clark, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift have six nominations each.
She also made headlines during the Eras Tour in Argentina by rushing into the arms of her beau, Travis Kelce, and planting him with a kiss backstage, ANI reported citing People. The 33-year-old singer played at Buenos Aires’ Estadio River Plate in Argentina, and afterwards, she gave Swifties a sight they’d hoped to see: their favourite singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, in a tender embrace and even sweeter kiss.
