Melody Gardot eager for album release

“It’s like waiting for a baby to be born, it’s like, ‘Get it out! Come on!’ I feel like I’m on those last little labour pains in a way because we worked on this album almost a year ago, so now it’s like an overdue thing. I’m happy that it’s finally going to be in people’s hands,” Gardot said.

The “Preacherman” singer’s LP will be her first since “The Absence” which released in 2012.
