BTS members RM and V post first pictures in uniform after military enlistment
South Korean band BTS's members RM and V joined their mandatory military services and posted pictures on Instagram.

Singer RM aka Kim Nam-joon, member of popular South Korean boy band BTS, posted pictures of himself in the military uniform, just a day after getting enlisted. Fellow band member V aka Kim Tae-hyung also posed with RM. The BTS members looked sharp in their military uniforms in the post, which was captioned by RM in Korean. It loosely translates into “loyalty.”
In one of the photographs, both RM and V also posed with a salute. Check out RM’s post –

BigHit music shared a statement on fan community forum Weverse. The statement read, “Thanks to your kind consideration and support this past December, BTS members RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook have entered the military and will soon be performing their duties at the training camp. Thank you for your interest and support on their enlistment day.”
The agency that manages the seven-member-band, also requested fans to stop sending gifts for the band members at the military facility. The statement read, “The military barracks are communal spaces shared by military personnel for training together. If a large number of letters and gifts from the fans arrive at the center all at once, it would be difficult to store them and they could be easily lost. Therefore, we kindly ask that fans refrain from sending anything by mail.”
They also requested fans to not visit the site.
“We would also like to ask for your cooperation during the recruit training graduation ceremony. In order to prevent any issues that might occur from crowding, we ask fans to please refrain from visiting the site. Instead, we ask you to keep your heartwarming words of support and farewell in your hearts,” the statement read.
BTS was formed in 2013 with seven members namely Jung Kook, Suga, Jin, RM, Jimin, V and j-Hope. The band announced hiatus in 2022 and now all members have enlisted in the military except for Suga, who will carry out his military service as a social service agent and not an active-duty soldier.
