BTS’ Jungkook, who is currently serving in the military, surprised fans with an announcement on Weverse. Previously, Jungkook unexpectedly deleted his personal Instagram account, which had amassed around 52.4 million followers. Now, he’s making a comeback to social media, but with a twist. Jungkook revealed his furry friend’s debut on Instagram and shared a heartfelt message along with it.
Taking to his Weverse handle, Jungkook reportedly wrote, “Since I can’t brag about myself now, I’ll brag about my baby. Have a fun ‘Bam’ (night) from now on. Unity.”
The first few posts showed Bam in high spirits, jumping across a field with its tail wagging. As of now, the account has a total of seven posts. Bam’s account follows only seven other accounts, including BTS’s official handle and the personal accounts of the remaining six members: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and V. Just 13 hours after the announcement, the follower count surged past 3 million.

Fans rushed to the comment section and thanked Jungkook. One of the fans wrote, “Jungkook thank you so much for creating an Instagram account and completing your promise we miss you and all the bts members so much please take care of yourself and stay healthy Lots of love to BTS.” Another said, “Jungkookie I missed you so much. I’m so happy that you are back on Instagram.”

Jungkook began his mandatory duties in December last year. In February, Jimin gave an update about Jungkook and said, “Jung Kook and I are doing well, so don’t worry too much and we’ll come back again.”
