BTS’s Jungkook is all set to release his debut album ‘Golden’. This marks a significant milestone in his solo career, following the success of his earlier singles ‘Seven’ in July and ‘3D’ in September. The album, which features 11 tracks, including his previous hits ‘Seven’ and ‘3D,’ was unveiled by Big Hit Entertainment.

Jungkook personally introduced his solo album ‘Golden’ in a video, expressing his excitement about this new chapter in his career. The album is inspired by the golden moments of his journey as a solo artist.

The singer said, “I use the word golden moment. I think it’s a combination of things like that moment, the nickname Namjoon gave me, and the talent I was born with. This feeling of reflection and proof is present in the album, as well as the ambition to prove it. I’m very excited and nervous.”

For the album, he collaborated with singers like Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, DJ Snake and Major Lazer among others. Talking about the collab, Jungkook said, “So many people participated, and I actually received the song, but it’s a disappointment I didn’t get to meet Ed Sheeran or Shawn Mendes in person. I still communicated with other producers and made video calls during the recording process. I would like to meet you if I have the chance.”

Jungkook is thankful for being called a global pop star but wants to ensure his singing, dancing, and music are perfect. He aims to develop his own unique style, so he practices his singing and closely watches his performances for areas of improvement.
