After giving a party anthem, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ is out with a love song ‘Samjhawan’. It is a slow romantic number sung by ‘Aashiqui 2’ singer Arijit Singh.

Originally a punjabi track, ‘Samjhawan’ is just another version of ‘Main Tenu Samjhawan Ki’ originally sung by Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The new version is composed by Sharib and Toshi.

The video is picturised on Varun and his ‘Dulhania’ Alia. Alia Bhatt looks beautiful in her salwar, kurta and colourful dupattas with jhumkas. Whereas Varun is a lover boy who loves being around his ‘Dulhania’.

Varun Dhawan plays the role of a simple boy looking for love in the film, Alia is a headstrong Delhi girl who knows what she wants. Alia also plays a Kareena Kapoor fan in the film.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ is said to be an ode to all-time love classic, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’. ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ is slated to release on July 11.
