2002 was an important year for Malayalam cinema and Hindi cinema as it marked the debut of two actors in those industries. In December, Prithviraj Sukumaran was launched as an actor with Nandanam, and earlier that year, in April, Ram Gopal Varma’s Company marked Mohanlal’s debut in Bollywood. In a beautiful collision of these two worlds, RGV dropped by the sets of Prithviraj’s much-awaited Mohanlal film, Empuraan. What resulted from the meeting was a mutual admiration club between RGV and Prithviraj, and a picture of Mohanlal in his character from Lucifer, Stephen Nedumpally. And oh..I cannot wait for that smashing 'comeback'.
