Mammootty stands tall in title look poster of Bazooka

Billed as a stylish thriller, Mammootty starrer Bazooka has been directed by Deeno Dennis. The film also stars Tamil filmmaker-actor Gautham Vasudev Menon.

Only Mammootty can have guns pointed at him and still be unfazed. The Malayalam superstar on Sunday unveiled the title look poster of his next, Bazooka. Billed as a stylish thriller, the film has been directed by Deeno Dennis. It also stars Tamil filmmaker-actor Gautham Vasudev Menon.

The slick poster doesn’t showcase Mammootty’s face and yet hints at what the film is going to be about. Dressed in a black suit, Mammootty stands facing his back to the audience, surrounded by men with their guns pointed at him.

Mammootty’s body language oozes calm, unafraid of the imminent danger, as he himself stands in the middle with his hands crossed, holding a gun, but being at ease. The headlights of cars and flashy signboards of hotels in the background add to the dark, stylish look of the poster.

Earlier in an interview with OTT Play, Deeno Dennis had described Bazooka as a “mass thriller” and said Mammootty was the perfect choice. “I have been working on the script of this film for the past three years. I felt Mammukka is the most apt for this movie. When I got a chance to pitch him the idea, I went to him with the complete scene order. He was excited about it as soon as he heard it,” he had said.

Bazooka doesn’t have a release date yet.
