The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film Kasargold released a teaser on Friday. Starring Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne and Vinayakan among others, Kasargold is helmed by Mridul Nair. The movie marks Asif’s reunion with Mridul after their successful collaboration, B Tech.

The teaser of Kasargold doesn’t reveal specific details about the film’s plot, but it offers an intriguing glimpse into a vibrant and colorful world. The clip showcases a group of friends embarking on a journey that explores the highs of life. The teaser also gives a sneak peek into some thrilling action sequences

Talking about the film, Mridul Nair said, “Kasargold was originally planned during the second COVID-19 lockdown, but shooting such a large-scale production was not feasible due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic. Fortunately, we had the opportunity to join hands with Saregama, which gave a new lease of life to the project.”

Asif Ali said that he was thrilled by the story and shared what fascinated him. He said, “It is based on two or three real incidents that took place in Kerala. However, what fascinated me as an actor was the way the script was woven around them. I hope the audience will also feel that suspense and drama while watching the story unfold on screen.”

“As evident from the teaser, the film is an action-packed thriller, specifically designed for an immersive theatre experience, featuring breathtaking visuals and a gripping background score,” added Sunny Wayne.

Kasargold also features Siddique, Sambath Ram, Deepak Purambol, Dhruvan, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Sagar Surya and Parasanth Murali.
