One of the most celebrated actors in Malayalam cinema, Fahadh Faasil celebrated his 42nd birthday on August 8. Despite being born to veteran filmmaker Fazil, Fahadh’s journey has been anything but smooth. However, despite the modest beginnings, with his debut film Kaiyethum Doorath falling flat at the box office, the actor has transformed into one of the industry’s most celebrated and versatile actors. On the Aavesham actor’s birthday, on Thursday, the makers of his upcoming Tamil film Vettaiyan wished him by sharing a photo from the movie’s set. The photo shared on Lyca Productions’ X (formerly Twitter) account features Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth and Fahadh standing in-between them.

“Our Birthday Boy Fahadh Faasil with the two pillars of Indian cinema, Superstar @rajinikanth & Shahenshah @SrBachchan from the sets of #Vettaiyan #HBDFahadhFaasil #FahadhFaasil,” the makers captioned the photo. Soon, the comments section of the post was flooded with reactions from fans. One user wrote, “Wat a Frame (sic).” Another commented, “Happy Birthday FaFa (sic).” “Three Dragons,” read another comment.

While Vettaiyan marks the first on-screen collaboration between Fahad and Rajinikanth, it will see Amitabh and Rajinikanth reuniting after three decades. Actors like Rana Daggubati and Manju Warrier will also feature in the film, all set to October 10.

On the occasion of Fahad Fasil’s birthday, the makers of the actor’s upcoming Telugu movie Pushpa 2 also released a poster from the film with the caption, “Team #Pushpa2TheRule wishes the stellar actor #FahadhFaasil a very Happy Birthday ❤‍🔥Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS will be back with a bang on the big screens 💥💥.”

Pushpa 2 The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, will hit screens on December 6, 2024.
