Fame can be a difficult thing to deal with, especially for a pop group like BTS, whose members have often struggled to keep their personal lives away from their fans. Jungkook, who is the lead vocalist of the band, recently faced a home intrusion attempt, and while arrests have been made in the matter, the singer decided to put a word of caution out to anyone who might try this again.

While celebrating his birthday on September 1, the singer talked about the incident during the live stream. He said, “I was watching everything on CCTV from my house. When I heard the police coming, they were trying to open the door and flee in a hurry from the underground parking lot.” He mentioned the excuse the arrested individual made for entering the building and said, ‘The person claimed to be my friend.’ Although ARMY, the BTS fandom, are all family and friends, it was regrettable.”

He thanked all his fans for the support they have shown to him and the group as a whole, but he also issued a stern warning, saying, “I’m really grateful for the support, but that’s not how it’s done. If you come looking, I’ll lock you up. Since everything is recorded, evidence will be secured, and you’ll just be taken away. If you step into our house’s parking lot, you won’t get out. You’ll be trapped unless I open the door. If you don’t want to go to the police station, don’t come at all.” This comes after the police arrested a woman on suspicion of being the home intruder last month.

Jungkook has faced similar situations before as well, such as people sending him food or trying to get into his house by attempting to guess the password of his door. On the other hand, the group, which recently returned after serving their mandatory military service under Korean law, has been plotting for a comeback. Their last studio album, ‘Proof’, came out in 2022, but they did release a live album this year in July titled ‘Permission to Dance on Stage’.
