Melissa McCarthy urges people to stop using plus-size label

Actress Melissa McCarthy agrees with Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Ashley Graham that the fashion world needs to stop using the “plus-size” label.

Last month Graham said that she hates the word plus-size and the comedy star supported her saying she tries not using the label for her fashion line, reported E! online.

“Every time someone says, ‘You make a plus-size line,’ I just correct them: ‘I make clothes for women,'” she told me while promoting her new movie The Boss.

“I’m not making a plus-size line. If a plus-size store or if a store of certain sizes buys those that’s what going in there. But on my website and HSN, I’m just making women’s clothing,” McCarthy said.

The 45-year-old “Spy” actress own a fashion line, Melissa McCarthy7, with sizes ranging from 4 to 28.
