81st Golden Globe Awards 2024 Live Streaming: The 81st Golden Globes are just around the corner and with this, the award season kicks off with a bang. With a year packed with drama, comedy, and the epic ‘Barbenheimer’ clash, stand-up comedian-actor Jo Koy is all set to host the star-studded ceremony. Jo Koy will be taking on the hosting duties for the first time, following comedian Jerrod Carmichael, who hosted the show last year. This is the first Golden Globes ceremony since the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) disbanded in 2023.

This year, the presenters include Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Yeoh, Ben Affleck and Dua Lipa, Angela Bassett, Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Annette Bening, Mark Hamill, Kevin Costner, Jonathan Bailey, Orlando Bloom and Will Ferrell among others. New categories include ‘Cinematic and Box Office Achievement’ and ‘Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television.’

The Golden Globes will be held on January 7, 8pm ET (January 8, 5:30 am IST).

Where can you watch Golden Globes 2024

The Golden Globes will stream exclusively on Lionsgate Play for Indian viewers. The event starts at 6:30 am IST, with the red-carpet beginning at 5:30 am IST. This year, Dick Clark Productions and Eldridge Industries have the rights to the Golden Globes after the HFPA disbanded.

Barbie has 9 nominations, leading the pack, followed closely by Oppenheimer with 8 nominations. In television, Succession is on top with 9 nominations. Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon and Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things secured seven nominations each in categories such as Best Director and Best Screenplay.
