Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne’s upcoming film ‘The Danish Girl’ will release on November 27 this year.

The film, directed by Tom Hooper, also stars actress Alicia Vikander. It will open in exclusive engagements in New York and Los Angeles, reported Variety.

‘The Danish Girl’ is based on the novel of the same name by David Ebershoff. Redmayne, 33, stars as Lili Elbe, one of the first-known recipients of transgender surgery. The story is set in 1920s Copenhagen.
