Actor Chris Pratt says he was pretty angry when he learned his father had died while he was shooting “Jurassic World” last year.

The 35-year-old actor, who was shooting the film in New Orleans when he learned his father’s death due to multiple sclerosis, said he tried to “compartmentalise” his feelings away from his work by getting drunk and was confrontational, reported Female First.

“I knew, being the lead in the movie, that I was really responsible for everybody’s attitude,” the actor said in an interview to GQ magazine.

“So, I compartmentalised it all and dealt with it in my own way, but not openly for people to see. I got pretty angry and got drunk and almost got in a fight with a drug dealer outside of my hotel room.”

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star has a two-year-old son Jack with wife Anna Faris.
