Zohra Sehgal,Ramesh Sippy to be honoured at IIFA

Zohra will receive special award- 'Contribution to 100 years of Indian Cinema' for her large body of work.

Legendary actress Zohra Sehgal and filmmaker Ramesh Sippy will be awarded for their outstanding contribution to Indian cinema at IIFA awards this year.

“I would like to thank IIFA for giving me this wonderful mark of appreciation. I am truly honoured that my work has been recognized,” said Sippy,who is best known for his Amitabh Bachchan-Dharmendra starrer ‘Sholay’.

Indian actress and centenarian,Zohra Sehgal will also receive the special award- ‘Contribution to 100 years of Indian Cinema’ for her large body of work.

The Videocon IIFA Weekend will be held in Singapore from June 7 to 9.
