Smells Good

Arjun Rampal launched his fragrance line — Alive — at Aurus in Juhu on Thursday evening. The model-turned-actor,owner of the company Chasing Ganesha and the extremely successful nightclub LAP,in Delhi,amplified his entrepreneurial skill with the launch of a line of perfumes. Supporting him in his latest venture was wife Mehr,who also played the gracious host. Arjun’s friend and mentor for years,Rohit Bal flew in from Delhi to be a part of the occasion.

The names of the attendees included some of the big names from Bollywood. Hrithik Roshan came in with wife Suzanne. The two were seen hanging out with Gauri Khan,Farah Khan Ali and Preity Zinta. Arjun’s colleagues from the industry — Boman Irani,Prakash Jha,Bunty Walia,Sudhir Mishra,Zoya Akhtar,Dino Morea and Abhishek Kapoor — showed up to congratulate Arjun as well as to party. The presence of society ladies,such as Prerna Goel,Rhea Pillai,Queenie Singh and Nandita Mahtani upped the glamour quotient.

While most guests dressed nattily for the do,one couldn’t help but spot some fashion disasters. Madhur Bhandarkar sported a sweatshirt that read Spiderman,Zayed Khan was in a ganji and cargos while Sushmita Sen was wearing a blingy halter top that looked like it was taken out after years of hibernation.
