Khan also stresses that we should stop feeling apologetic about the typical Bollywood cinema. “I may do all kinds of films,but I also enjoy over-the top,and typical song and dance routine. It is something we are known for,the world over. The good old ‘80s and ‘90s cinema will always be special,as they reflect our culture. Those are the films my grandfather made and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that my house,car and clothes have come from those films,” he gushes.

The actor who soon starts shooting for the second schedule of Karan Johar’s Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu,a story about two young people and how they influence each other,says that he now wants to give a break to romcoms.”I don’t know what I shall sign next,but it will definitely not be a romcom. Romcoms are fun to make and watch. And I feel good about the success of the couple of romcoms that I have done,as they show that I can deliver in that genre,but now I am craving to do something different. Soon you will hear an announcement about my next project,” smiles Khan.

“I don’t know why the word perfectionist is treated like a gaali! Isn’t it a good thing if one is a perfectionist?
