Legal documentation revealed the man had driven across the US last month in a bid to marry Aniston, who he believed was his girlfriend.

He also wrote a message to the ‘Friends’ actress on the side of his car,and was caught with “a sharp object”,duct tape and love letters to her.

Police detained Peyton on July 20 after a tip-off from his father and he remains in psychiatric hold, although he has not been charged in connection to the incident.

A policeman at the court hearing, which neither Aniston nor Peyton attended, claimed he had told him he wanted to marry the actress and father her children.
