Ranbir couldn’t wait to start ‘Raajneeti’

Waiting for the shooting of ‘Raajneeti’ to start was the most difficult time for actor Ranbir Kapoor,who plays an apolitical role in Prakash Jha’s upcoming film.

“I think the most difficult period for me in this film was waiting for its start. I thought how this movie will turn out and when it will come out,” said Ranbir,who was here to promote the film alongside Jha and Manoj Bajpayee.

Prakash Jha wrote the story of ‘Rajneeti’ in 2004 and finalized the 27-year-old actor to play the role after his first movie ‘Saawaria’ was released.

“When I listened to the story I liked it and I wanted to be part of it,” Ranbir said.

Ranbir insists that he is not playing a role of a politician in ‘Rajneeti’.

“I do not play politician in ‘Rajneeti’¿I play a character of an outsider in it,” he said.

The son of yesteryears heartthrob Rishi Kapoor and actress Neetu Singh,Ranbir wants to play all kind of role in films in the future.
