Brushing aside chick-flicks,Pyaar Ka Punchnama is a sarcastic take on love and the male characters in the film unabashedly proclaim their hatred for tears and PMS.

It is an anti-love comedy centered on three friends Rajat,Chaudhary and Liquid,who are stuck in their mundane and boring lives. The trio hopes to get hooked and sets out to find a girlfriend. But things turn topsy-turvy for them as the women they fall in love with don’t love them.

The trio has to retrace their steps in order to undo their mistakes.

Directed by newcomer Luv Ranjan and produced by Kumar Mangat’s son Abhishek Pathak,Pyaar Ka Punchnama has only fresh faces and an all-new concept.

* Director Luv Ranjan,who was on the look-out for an actor (sans a starry face) to play the lead role,discovered newbie Karthik on the social networking site Facebook.
