Gibson gets order against ex-lover
The actor filed for a restraining order against Oksana Grigorieva.
Things have turned ugly between Hollywood superstar Mel Gibson and ex-lover Oksana Grigorieva as the actor has reportedly filed a restraining order against the Russian singer.
Grigorieva, who is the mother of Gibson’s seven-month-old daughter, split with the actor in April.
The 54-year-old actor has lodged documents under seal at the Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday. While the plaintiff is listed as Mel Gibson and the defendant is Oksana Grigorieva, details of the file are not available to the public. He filed a temporary restraining order,a notice about a forthcoming court hearing and a notice regarding child custody.
Gibson’s affair with Grigorieva led to the end of his 29-year marriage with wife Robyn in 2009,with whom he has seven children. The marriage officially ended after it was revealed Miss Grigorieva was pregnant.
The 40-year-old Russian musician recently claimed she had been in a relationship with the Oscar-winning actor for three years not the one previously reported.
Calling Gibson “the biggest love of my life”,Grigorieva denied rumours he had cheated on her and demanded a paternity test for their daughter but refused to reveal details behind their fall out. “We were very much in love. He was the biggest love of my life and that’s what Mel always told me.”
Grigorieva, who also has a 13-year-old son,Alexander,by former James Bond star Timothy Dalton, said of their breakup,”The reasons I cannot talk about but it will come out at some point. The truth always comes out. We’ve been together for three years – not one year as people have been writing.”
She also shot down reports that her daughter Lucia was not Gibson’s child. “She is the spitting image of him. She is very beautiful with blue eyes. It’s definitely Mel. Little Mel,” the singer had said in an interview.
