Who is Veer Pahariya, the debutant in Akshay Kumar-starrer Sky Force?

If you also felt that you’ve heard the name before, you are not wrong. Veer is the maternal grandson of former chief minister Sushilkumar Shinde. He has dated Sara Ali Khan in the past, and his brother Shikhar Pahariya is Janhvi Kapoor’s rumoured boyfriend. Veer and Shikhar‘s names became popular after Karan Johar had hinted at Sara and Janhvi having dated siblings in the past.

“I am tracking back to before the pandemic. I don’t know the level of your friendship today, but I don’t remember there being any. I remember that you both have dated siblings before…” KJo had said on Koffee with Karan 7, leaving both actors visibly red in the face. Karan continued, “I mean it was the past. You both dated two brothers. And the commonality between the three of us is that they both used to live in my building.”

While neither Janhvi nor Sara had revealed the identity of the two brothers that they had dated at the same time, internet sleuths managed to solve it. “For everyone whose wondering which brother duo janhvi and sara dated, it’s these two brothers called veer (sara) and shikhar (janhvi) pahariya, both maternal grandsons of the former chief minister of maharashtra! THANK ME LATER,” one person tweeted.

Sara Ali Khan had even spoken about dating Veer Pahariya in an interview with Filmfare and shared how he’s the only boy who did not break her heart. “He’s [Veer Pahariya] the only one I have dated. I have had no other boyfriends in my life,” she was quoted as saying. Recently Veer’s photo from an event went viral with fans even calling him the Indian answer to Fawad Khan.

Before acting, Veer was an assistant director. He has worked on Bhediya, where he not only was an assistant but also a body double for Varun Dhawan.

Veer Pahariya and Shikhar Pahariya’s parents separated long back. Their father Sanjay Pahariya is a well-known businessman and their mother Smruti Shinde is a producer, who is also the managing director of Sobo Films. While his elder brother is an investment banker, Veer is said to have been always interested in acting. Sharing the announcement video of Sky Force, Shikhar reposted it adding a heart emoji, while Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram story expressing her excitement, “This is going to be🔥🔥🔥 Can’t wait @veerpahariya6 ❤️❤️.”
